U sklopu projekta MEMORIE pronađeno najstarije stablo u Hrvatskoj

Iako njen prsni promjer iznosi svega 80 cm, doživjela je veliku starost što znači da je godišnji prirast ovog stabla svega 0,14 cm. Velika starost ovog stabla u odnosu na njegov prsni promjer ukazuju da su životni uvjeti (tlo, voda, svjetlost) u staništu ove vrste vrlo oskudni, ali ipak vrsta je, uz vlastitu sposobnost  prilagodbe na teške stanišne uvjete doživjela duboku starost gdje je umjesto velikih dimenzija izabrala dugi život.
