Laboratory of Tree Pathology

The Activity of the Laboratory is testing of pathogens and pests of forest and urban trees.  Diagnostics, research on the biology of fungal pathogens, harmful insects and other pests, testing of the measures for tree protection. Isolation of fungal pathogens from plants, breeding and analysis, pathogen identification and diagnoses.  Identification of harmful insects and other pests, breeding and analysis as well as diagnoses of pests.   DNA extraction from plants and pathogens and preparation for molecular analysis.  Testing and prescription of the effective prevention and/or treatment measures for the disease and pests prevention or control. Education of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students.
