Laboratory of Anatomical Properties of Wood and Wood Preservation
The Laboratory is experienced in identification of wooden artefacts of cultural heritage, archaeological wood and for the proposes of the expertise in timber, in determination of the efficiency of protective agents against xyophagous fungi, in determining the biological resistance of wood and modified wood, in determining the soundness of wood and in supervising the restoration of facilities. Numerous expertise and studies have been produced as a proof of this.
It collaborates with archaeologists, the Croatian Conservation Institute, museums, art academies, other faculties in Croatia, timber merchants and many others. Laboratory exercises with undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students have been conducted in the Laboratory
