Quality Policy


The policy of the quality system of the Laboratory for Testing Furniture and Furniture Parts (LIN) is based on  conducting the testing in accordance with the applicable methods included in the activities of the Laboratory, following the principles of the profession and of good professional practice.

Laboratory Management must meet the standard requirements HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and constantly improve the efficiency of the laboratory management system.

The Laboratory staff perform their activities in an impartial manner and in accordance with legal provisions, Laboratory documentation, the rules of the profession and in their professional conscience, without carrying out activities related to potential conflict of interest. The work scope for the staff and associates who perform activities of testing is defined by the quality management system documents.

The Laboratory staff and management ensure to their customers high-quality services for product quality testing by applying the accredited and other methods the laboratory is competent for, as well as by a continuous professional development of their employees.

The staff and the organizations participating in the laboratory activities do not in any way affect the results of its activities.

Quality System Objectives are the implementation of the product quality testing according to the previously clearly stated customer’s request; the use of the calibrated, attested, high-quality equipment; to enable the participation of customers in testing and to foster  continuous communication with the customer; to monitoring the customer satisfaction and analysing customer feedback; fair solving of eventual claims, taking all necessary actions in case of errors, removing errors and preventing new errors; and introducing the necessary changes or improvements for better working conditions, to expand testing methods, purchase the new equipment, to ensure a better quality of the testing results and their presentation. 

All the above aim at achieving the interests of the customer or users of its products and services, and the interests of the laboratory.

The quality system objectives are implemented through daily operations and work of the employees, which establishes, documents, monitors and improves the quality management system.

The information about the laboratory service users is confidential. Access to confidential information is granted only to the laboratory staff, who do not disclose it in order to prevent any impact on the business operations of its customers and of the laboratory itself. Customers’ confidential data protection refers to the active employees and to those who stopped  working in the laboratory.

Laboratory staff are familiar with the quality system documentation, are obliged to know and implement the quality system policy and goals.
