Lifelong learning


 

Lifelong learning programs are organized to acquire knowledge, skills, and competences for personal, social, and professional needs, as well as the needs of the labor market. They are not considered studies within the meaning of the law regulating higher education and scientific activity. Lifelong learning is based on the principles of quality, relevance, transparency, adaptability, inclusiveness and ethics. Lifelong learning programs may include programs with courses, lectures, seminars, workshops, summer and winter schools, professional development programs, short intensive educational programs and the like, including adult education and education for the third age (Regulations on Lifelong Learning of the University of Zagreb of 10 July 2024).
