The Office for Students and Development in Teaching

Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, the Office for Students and Teaching Enhancement ( here in after referred to as the Office) began operating at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology. Its aim is to contribute to:

• raising the quality and efficiency of the learning process and improving students’ presentation skills (e-portfolio, Mahara tool, mind maps, etc.),

• advancing students' skills in designing, planning, and implementing research projects, as well as writing professional and scientific papers,

• enhancing the teaching methods used by the Faculty's lecturers through the application of various instructional tools (Moovly, Coogle, Kahoot, etc.),

• improving communication between students and lecturers at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology (FŠDT).

The Office's main activities will focus on preparing, organizing, and conducting educational and practical workshops for students, workshops for lecturers, and public forums (popular-educational-scientific “talk shows”).

The Head of the Office is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marko Vucelja.
