PU2002N - obavezni
Opterećenje: 30(P) + 30(L) + 0(A) + 0(PK) + 0(S) + 0(TJ) + 0(SJ) + 24(T)
Cilj predmeta: The aim of the course is to provide the student with basic knowledge about the most important and complex component of the forest ecosystem. Furthermore, the goal is to prepare the student for the acquisition of new knowledge necessary for the management of the forest ecosystem, especially with regard to its stability and protection from degradation processes. Therefore, the goal is for students to learn how soil is formed - what are the factors and processes of its formation, what are the key processes that take place in it, and what are the physical, chemical, biological and morphological characteristics of soil
Sadržaj predmeta: Lectures 1. Introduction – definition, roles, soil specificities of individual ecosystems and the importance of soil in forestry and environmental protection 2. Sources, composition and dynamics of the mineral component of the soil: Minerals and rocks 3. Sources, composition and dynamics of the mineral component of the soil: Weathering of minerals and rocks 4. Organisms and soil organic matter: Soil biology 5. Organisms and soil organic matter: Soil organic matter - sources, changes and characteristics 6. Organisms and soil organic matter: Forest biogeochemistry 7. Physical characteristics of the soil: The solid phase of the soil 8. Physical characteristics of the soil: Liquid phase of the soil - water and water regime of the soil 9.
